Peter Till Runs the Extra Mile for Help Harry Help Others

BK Plus Team member Peter Till is set to undertake a gruelling challenge for charity by running three marathons in three days. This remarkable feat is being done to raise funds and awareness for the Help Harry Help Others (HHHO) charity, which provides support and assistance to families affected by cancer.

Peter’s motivation to take on this incredible challenge came after attending the HHHO 10th Anniversary Celebration Ball on Saturday night. He was deeply moved by the stories of cancer survivors and their families who have received help from the charity, and he was inspired to make a difference.

“Attending the event on Saturday was just mind-blowing. The emotions and videos that I watched have inspired me to try and make a contribution and hopefully make a difference to the charity and the people that it supports,” said Peter.

Peter’s marathon challenge will see him running 78.6 miles over the course of three days, covering a distance equivalent to almost three full marathons.

The challenge is not an easy one, and with only a few weeks to prepare, Peter is relying on his existing fitness and determination to complete the challenge. Fortunately, freetrain.co.uk will be supporting him on this journey. However, he is determined to complete the challenge and raise as much money as possible for the charity.

HHHO was founded by Harry Moseley, who was just 11 years old when he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Despite undergoing treatment, Harry continued to work tirelessly to raise awareness and funds for cancer research and support. Sadly, Harry passed away in 2011, but his legacy lives on through the charity that he founded.

The funds raised by Peter’s marathon challenge will go towards supporting the work of HHHO, which provides practical and emotional support to families affected by cancer. This includes funding research into new treatments and therapies, providing counselling and support for cancer patients and their families, and offering financial assistance to families who are struggling due to the costs associated with cancer treatment.

Peter’s marathon challenge is an inspiring example of how one person can make a difference and help to support a cause that they are passionate about. By pushing himself to the limit and raising funds and awareness for HHHO, Peter is helping to make a real difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.

In the words of Harry Moseley, “Together, we can make a difference.” Peter’s marathon challenge is a testament to that sentiment, and we wish him all the best as he takes on this incredible feat.

If you’d like to support Peter’s marathon challenge and help raise funds for HHHO, you can donate via his JustGiving page.

Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.
