Emma Nash has over 30 years of experience in accountancy. Obtaining her practicing certificate in the 1990s, she started off practicing in her own name for a number of years on a varied client base before taking an appointment as a Practice Manager for a local firm of Chartered Accountants in Warwick. In 2008, she helped set up Chapman Nash as Co-Owner alongside Jeremy Chapman. The business has been trading successfully until 2021 when it was acquired as the Warwick office of BK plus.
With a portfolio of business and personal clients to include full discussion and agreement on possible areas for improvement and tax minimisation, she also provides ad-hoc related advice when required and develops tailored advice when opportunities or new legislation arises. Emma has a tenacious attitude towards efficiency, ensuring that accounting and control systems compliment the business without being unnecessarily complex.
Emma specialises in; account preparation and corporate taxation of SMEs, personal and capital gain taxation for individual and sole traders/ partnerships, other compliance issues and assistance with the development of management information and improving your accounting systems.
Starting his career 1981, Jeremy has 40 years of experience in the accountancy profession, 30 of those acting in a Partner role. Jeremy became a Partner in a major Birmingham City Centre practice in 1991. In 2008 he was admitted as a Chartered accountant and set up Chapman Nash, in Warwick, as founder and Co-owner with Emma Nash. The business has been trading successfully and has been acquired as the Warwick office of BK Plus in 2021.
Jeremy is responsible for a portfolio of business and personal clients mainly around the Midlands looking after accounts, tax returns, VAT returns and ad-hoc related issues.
Acting for some clients for over 20 years, he makes client’s lives easier by staying on top of all reporting deadlines for them and sending reminders of what is due and how and when to pay taxes. He provides assistance with all regulated returns and requirements relevant to accounting and tax. He’s also available very quickly should situations arise where advice is needed.
He specialises in; accounts and tax advice for SMEs, income tax and capital gains tax for individuals, start-ups and forecasting and looking after whole accounting & tax packages for clients including start-ups through to succession and sale planning.
