Ian Gould

Ian is a qualified Accountant and Insolvency Practitioner. He joined PKF in 1997, to build a new Insolvency and Restructuring Department in their Birmingham Office. He was later appointed Office managing Partner and in 2011 became National Head of the Firm’s restructuring and Insolvency department. He remained a Partner at BDO and headed up the Birmingham Office Restructuring and Insolvency team until 2017, when he joined Baldwins. He worked closely with Shaun and David as Regional managing Partner of a large region comprising a number of new offices which were successfully integrated in to the National Firm.

As a restructuring Partner Ian has significant experience in management roles and has many years’ experience of negotiating and completing sales and acquisitions. His experience in managing Accountancy practices as well as the commercial sector makes him well placed to identify, negotiate and manage the acquisitions.
