Chris Hession C.A

Chris Hession started his career off working in a Big 4 firm for 5 years where he qualified through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland before moving to Baldwins Accountants as Audit Manager. He recently joined BK Plus in May 2021 as Senior Audit Manager. 

The main part of Chris’ role is to oversee the portfolio of clients and manage the Audit department, ensuring all clients are provided with the best service possible. Whether it be a compulsory audit or a voluntary audit where the client requests the teams focus on specific areas, he will tailor the service to focus on the key areas of the client, ensuring they always receive a thorough, quality and value for money audit. Chris is aware that audit can be perceived as a stressful process but by communicating efficiently with the clients throughout the entire process, from planning through to completion, he makes sure that they understand what is happening at every step of the way. 

Chris has vast experience in the audit sector, working on clients ranging from £1m turnover to £2bn across a multitude of industries. His portfolio is focused on clients up to £50m, where he can provide greater insight into the controls and processes implemented across the client, and by extension to provide greater value for money to his clients.
