Compliance Director with three decades of experience in Banking and Finance, specialising in regulatory compliance, governance and risk management. I have extensive experience supporting FCA, PRA and ICAEW regulated environments, helping organisations navigate complex regulatory requirements while building practical, effective compliance frameworks.

I began my compliance career in a local building society, initially developing processes to support growth in the mortgage market. This involved working closely with the Board on strategic direction while collaborating with teams across the business to review existing working practices and implement necessary change. I later gained further experience across insurance markets and claims solutions businesses before moving into an Audit and Accounting Compliance role in 2020 as a Compliance Manager, and subsequently progressing to a Director of Compliance and Ethics position.

Throughout my career I have led regulatory improvement initiatives, strengthened conduct risk controls and supported organisations through regulatory change and supervisory engagement. I am passionate about building strong compliance cultures and working with senior leadership to ensure organisations operate with integrity, transparency and confidence in an evolving regulatory environment. My focus is on making compliance a practical enabler of growth, helping teams navigate regulatory requirements with confidence while ensuring compliance adds value rather than acting as a barrier.
