Title: Accounting Apprenticeship
Overall Purpose
We are BK Plus, a young but rapidly growing dynamic accountancy practise with offices in Solihull, Warwick and Rowley Regis supporting our head office situated in Aldridge. We are looking to recruit Accounting Apprentices to our team.
The successful candidates will receive on the job training in addition to enrolling onto the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) course with the view to qualify as a member. Following the success on the AAT, the candidate can continue training to ACCA or ICAEW level.

Brief Job Description
Initially you will be:
- Training on appropriate software
- Working with cloud-based accounting software, client’s manual records, bank statements/feeds
- Preparing cloud bookkeeping & management accounts
- Planning workload to ensure efficient use of time and resources
Developing to:
- Preparation and submission of annual accounts
- Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns
- Preparation of financial records for client billing
- Client engagement to achieve the above
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements for the role
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grades 9-4/Grade A*-C and above including Mathematics and English
- Obtained or predicted a minimum of 2 A levels at Grades A*-C
- Microsoft Office skills (especially in Excel)
- Good communication skills
- Organisational skills
- No work experience required
